 Mobility solutions for overcoming architectural barriers
Domus products are user-friendly because they are designed to remove architectural barriers, not to introduce additional barriers. They can be connected to a dedicated electrical outlet. The IGV Research & Development team daily aims to design ergonomic and performing components for its customers.
The DOMUS safety devices are manufactured in compliance with most of the lift standards, which are stricter than the machinery standards, to which the Domus products formally comply. DOMUS products comply with all the current regulations.
DOMUS products can be quickly installed and require limited masonry work. The wide range of solutions can be customised and is conceived to meet every requirement. The local installer guarantees a correct installation and a qualified and prompt maintenance. The length of guarantee is further confirmation of the products reliability.
DOMUS LIFT
DOMUSLIFT is the personal lift designed to meet the requirements of vertical mobility in public and private  buildings. It is the ideal solution for elderly and disabled people, allowing them to move independently and free from the stairs.
DOMUSLIFT is user-friendly and functional. It can be quickly installed, takes up little space and requires minimal maintenance. It is user-friendly and very silent.
DOMUSLIFT can be connected to a dedicated 230 volt electrical outlet and the installation requires limited masonry work. The documentation and planning permission required for the installation are simplified.

DOMUS STAIR
 The stairlift with seat or platform
DOMUSTAIR stairlift is the best solution to climb all sorts of stairs.
It is suitable to move along linear, winding paths and paths with variable slopes.
The single rail with reduced dimensions easily suits any environment and is shaped according to the stair configuration.
It is supplied with all accessories which make it comfortable, safe and user-friendly.
The power supply batteries are onboard and guarantee the operation also in case of power failure.
To automatically charge batteries a power supply of 230 V is enough by means of sliding contacts at the rail ends.
Safety is guaranteed by shockproof devices preventing from the risk of crushing and shearing.
Stairlift with seat
The footrest features a non-slipping aluminium platform and it can be folded in order to reduce the dimensions of the closed machine. Standard supply includes two manual remote controls for the calling/sending of the closed machine. Lever controls on the arm are protected by a safety key. It comes also with folding guide rails.
Stairlift with platform
DOMUSTAIR with platform, like stairlift with seat, is suitable to move along linear, winding paths and paths with variable slopes. The fixing of the rail can be carried out with supports on steps or with attachments on bearing wall. To install the machine neither a permission nor a licence is required; moreover there is no need for masonry works.
The platform is supplied with two bars for control and landing connection.
The folding platform allows the use without accompanying persons.
Moreover, the standard model is provided with a pushbutton panel that can be used both by the user and by a potential accompanying person.
DOMUS PLAT
 Hydraulic lifting platform
The DOMUSPLAT pantograph hydraulic lifting platform successfully removes the architectural barriers in case of reduced rises (up to 2 metres).
It is the ideal solution for overcoming just few steps.
The platform is very easy to operate by means of a standard pushbutton panel, on landings and onboard, with low voltage supply (24 V).
Gates and/or landing doors can be manually opened and are provided with a safety lock.
Standard supply includes manually operated emergency down travel and maximum pressure gauge in order to avoid platform overload.
The upper platform is covered with non-slipping material.
Platform with enclosed shaft
If an enclosed shaft with landing doors for user safety are not already available, DOMUSPLAT can be supplied with section iron and glass or sheet steel cladding.
Platform without shaft
When it is not possible to build an enclosed shaft with landing doors, the DOMUSPLAT model "without shaft" is available. On the free sides under the platform a folding protection is installed, which prevents from accessing the area below, thus avoiding the risk of crushing. The Domusplat dimensions increase slightly when the folding protection is installed. All systems can be provided with emergency down travel directly operated from the platform.
SUPER DOMUS
 Lifts with reduced pit and headroom
The dimensions of the pit and headroom are smaller than on conventional lifts. The lift complies with prEN 81-21 harmonised standard, specifically dedicated to new lifts in existing buildings. The equipment was designed to reduce the shaft dimensions whilst the car dimensions remain unchanged.
Certified models include a wide range of flexible options: load, car dimensions and finishes, landing and car doors dimensions and types. The hydraulic power unit, the control panel, and the power supply and lighting switches are set inside a cabinet with reduced dimensions, rather than in a dedicated machineroom.
The cabinet can be dismantled and re-assembled. Therefore transportation and installation are simpler.
Cabinet dimensions: 950 mm (W) x 400 mm (D) x 1850 mm (H).
The lift is provided with all the necessary devices for a simple and safe maintenance.
 SAVE PROGRAMM
Machine room less lifts
The SAVE programme lifts can be customized with a wide range of layouts and finishes, and have been designed to provide the same security standard as a regular lift installation.
They comply with the Directive on Lifts (95/16/EC), developed in conformity to the ISO 9000:2000 quality standards and to the Annex XIII of the Directive.
Every model of the SAVE product line is accompanied by a EC type-examination Certification issued by a notified body.
SAVE programme is an integrated and flexible system, due to the possibility of choosing between different conceptual paths (partial or total elimination of the traditional machine room) and technological ones (hydraulic and electric traction) thus offering greater project freedom with lower costs. The elimination of the machine room and the flexibility of solutions, guaranteed by the IGV brand, make of the SAVE programme lifts an advantageous choice for either the designer, the installer and the user.
